  1. Bambusa Balcooa (Balcooa Bamboo)
  • Description: Bambusa Balcooa is known for its thick-walled culms and excellent strength. It is often referred to as one of the most robust bamboo varieties.
  • Uses: Balcooa is widely used for construction, scaffolding, and furniture. It also serves as a raw material for paper pulp(highly in demand), Textile Industry, Bio Ethanol, Bio CNG, Bio Deisel, Active Charcoal, etc .
  • Key Features: High tensile strength, low shrinkage, and resistance to pests.
  • Mature Height: Up to 25 meters.
  • Harvesting : Starts in 4th year.

  1. Bambusa Tulda (Tulda Bamboo)
  • Description: Often referred to as Indian Timber Bamboo, Tulda is valued for its strong and durable culms.
  • Uses: Extensively used in the paper industry, construction, crafting, furniture, wooden boards, sticks, agriculture, etc.

  • Key Features: Towering height, high biomass output, and soil-stabilizing properties.
  • Mature Height: Up to 48 meters.
